These terms apply to orders placed on boardwars.hu. Please read them before ordering.

1. The seller

The seller is Andor Czafik, a private individual (Árvalányhaj út 5., 9011 Győr, Hungary; e-mail: info@boardwars.hu; phone: +36 70 311 1476). The seller is not a company or a registered sole trader, has no tax number and does not charge VAT.

The contract is concluded in Hungarian by electronic means. It is not a written contract and is not filed by the seller; the order details are contained in the confirmation e-mail.

2. Products and prices

The Board Wars deck contains 32 cards. The specs on the cards are in technical English, and a description in four languages (Hungarian, English, German, Italian) comes with every deck. The deck is available on its own or in a 3D printed box in your choice of colours.

The 3D printed boxes are made individually to order, so their colour and surface may differ slightly from the preview on the website. This is not considered a defect.

Prices are shown on the order page in Hungarian forints (Ft) or euros (€). The prices shown are final; the shipping fee depends on the chosen shipping method and is shown separately in the order summary before you place the order.

3. How to order

  • On the order page, choose the package and the box colour, then add it to the cart.
  • In the order summary, enter your name, contact details and shipping address, and choose the shipping and payment method.
  • You can check and correct your details before sending them. You place the order with the “Place order with obligation to pay” button.
  • You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail; the contract is concluded with it. If you don't receive it within 48 hours, please write to info@boardwars.hu.

You can check the status of your order at any time via the link in the confirmation e-mail.

4. Payment

  • Cash on delivery: you pay the courier or at the parcel locker when collecting the parcel.
  • Bank transfer / cash: for a bank transfer I send the payment details by e-mail and ship the parcel once the payment has arrived; with personal pickup you can also pay in cash on handover.

If you add a donation to your order (“One deck for you, one for a school”), it is used to send additional decks to educational institutions. You can read where they go on the For schools page.

5. Shipping and pickup

Available shipping methods (their fees are shown on the order page):

  • Foxpost parcel locker (Hungary only): Delivered to the chosen locker in about 2-3 working days after dispatch.
  • MPL home delivery (Hungary and the EU): Home delivery in about 1-2 working days within Hungary, 5-10 working days abroad.
  • Personal pickup (Győr, Hungary): Personal pickup at an agreed time: Árvalányhaj út 5, 9011 Győr, Hungary.

Orders are usually shipped within a few working days. As the boxes are made to order, it may take longer; in that case I will let you know the expected date by e-mail. You will receive an e-mail with the tracking number when the parcel is shipped.

6. Right of withdrawal (returns)

You may withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. Simply send an e-mail to info@boardwars.hu stating that you withdraw and giving your order number.

Please return the product to the address above within 14 days of notifying me. You bear the cost of returning it. I will refund the price of the product, the shipping fee and any donation within 14 days of receiving the product back.

You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature of the product.

7. Defective products, warranty

If the product is defective or arrives damaged (e.g. a card is missing or misprinted, or the box is broken), please let me know at info@boardwars.hu, ideally with a photo. I will replace the defective product or, if that is not possible, refund the price. This does not affect your statutory warranty rights.

8. Complaints and disputes

For questions or complaints, contact me at info@boardwars.hu or +36 70 311 1476; I reply to every enquiry within 14 days. If we cannot reach an agreement, Hungarian law applies and the competent Hungarian court has jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

9. Other

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy. I may amend these terms; amendments apply only to orders placed after they take effect.
