F4 Discovery

The good old STM32F407 with an onboard audio codec that still surprises.

Good to know

  • Onboard ST-LINK/V2 – with jumpers it can even program an external target.
  • The onboard audio codec, MEMS mic and accelerometer occupy several pins – check the manual before conflicts bite.
  • PA0 is the blue user button; BOOT0 jumper gets you into the system bootloader.
  • 3.3V logic, FT pins are 5V tolerant here too.
