Wemos D1 Mini

The ESP8266 legend: if a DIY smart home project runs somewhere, odds are one of these is inside.

Good to know

  • Boot straps: D3 (GPIO0) and D4 (GPIO2) must be high, D8 (GPIO15) low at boot – do not load them with relays/LEDs.
  • A0 takes ~3.2V max (there is a divider in front of it).
  • For deep sleep wake-up, wire D0 (GPIO16) to RST.
  • 3.3V logic, 5V signal levels are officially forbidden.
